Day 22 – Medicinal Walk
Bolt of rainbow strikes
Rays of hope on the horizon
Illuminating bronzed treetops
And tower block bricks
Lingering leafy laughter
Rustles above me
Crackles beneath me
In multicoloured cacophony
Bold shadows of tree bark
Cast cascading columns
Of light and shade across
Lawn slopes and leafy verges
Brisk air creates crisp breaths
Fresh faces, lighter spirits
And minds invigorated
By medicinal walking
